How far along?:  24 weeks!! Gender:  It's a boy!!!!

Maternity Clothes:  Yes!

Sleep:  Pretty good, other than getting woken up by Little K.

What do I miss?:  Sleeping on my tummy, and working out hard!!  I am starting to plan out my exercise routine for post baby all ready!  I cannot wait to bring my heart rate up high!!!!!

Cravings:  Not much now.  It depends on the day.  I am definitely eating a lot more carbs than I am used to ;)

Symptoms:  Still feeling very good!  Just having the typical exhaustion, not sure if that's from Little K, or both her and the pregnancy :)  Other than that, I feel good!!  Hoping it lasts!!

Exercise and nutrition:  Still sticking with my weights 4-5 times per week, prenatal yoga once a week.  Trying to get outside and go for a run 3 times a week, as well as 2 other 30 minutes .  This definitely doesn't happen every week, as this summer has been crazy, but it's always my goal.  I am listening to my body and going with that at this point ;)

As for nutrition, same thing, I am listening to my body and going with it.  I have been gluten free as I have had some reactions to gluten lately.  A typical day looks like this:

Wake up at 4:30-1/2 cup of coffee and a rice cake with either almond butter, sun butter, or peanut butter

check emails and workout

7:00-Isalean Shake   I do either the vegan one or the regular. I either add fruit to it, or I have a piece of fruit with it.

9:30-Spinach protein pancake--made with 3 eggs, spinach, 2 TB coconut flour, and cinnamon topped with coconut oil (sometimes I switch this meal with the shake for convenience if we aren't going to be home)

12:00--Typically leftovers from dinner the night before

2:30--Either an Isalean Bar, or a Raw Revolution Bar if I'm dairy free that day plus some type of fruit, or another shake.

5:30--Whatever we cook for dinner that night which varies quite a bit.  It consists of 3-4 oz of protein, lots of veggies, and a small starch--usually a good fat added too ;)

7:30-sometimes I'm hungry sometimes I'm not--try to make a smart choice if I am, like Apple Chips

**not going to lie, there are definitely some snacks in between if I'm hungry, and I definitely don't always stick to this.  This is just ideal for me!!

On my mind:  Um, I'm having another child, lol!!!   It's been quite a busy summer, and we have a whole lot to do to get his room ready!!   My hubby is quite handy around the house, and works quickly so I'm not worried, but we do need to get a move on!  I still have the awful gut feeling that Kensie is going to feel unloved with he gets here, but all moms of more than one are assuring that this does not happen and it will all make sense when he is born, so that's what I'm going with!

Do you have anything that worked really well when baby # 2 came??  I would love to hear your advice!!

xo,
